Our Story

First off, Welcome to our country Kitchen! Janelle and I are committed to provide the 4 corners with a family style restaurant with good food, timely service, and reasonable prices in a clean and positive atmosphere.

Our entrees are homemade with an emphasis on freshness, simplicity and regionality of the south and the southwest. We also feature a number of dishes that are gluten free, we welcome you to be our guest! Your comments are of great value to us and always welcome.

From The Chef

I have had the opportunity to work in the culinary field since 1975. While I was in college, I worked for several well known chefs in Seattle, Washington. In the 1970s there was a great awakening in the culinary industry in Washington. The fresh resources were abounding with fruits and vegetables. I caught the culinary bug and worked as a sous chef for several great chefs before I launched out as a chef in Seattle.

I began working for the Hotel chain known as the Red Lion Inns in the 1980s and moved around quit a bit between Washington, Oregon and California. Before moving to the Four corners area of the southwest in the 1990s, I studied Mediterranean cooking and contemporary American cooking. While with the Hilton Hotels, I studied nutrition and food allergens.
